Stuttering Specialists Montreal is dedicated to best clinical practice and continuing education in stuttering. Formerly associated with the Montreal Fluency Centre, where Dr. Rosalee C. Shenker was Founder of that non-profit, Stuttering Specialists acts as the North American hub of the Lidcombe Program Trainers Consortium and a centre for professional training for speech-language pathologists (SLPs) worldwide. Lidcombe Program for Preschool-Aged Children Who Stutter

After training, speech-language pathologists will be prepared to train and support parents as they carryout Lidcombe with their children in every-day speaking environments and to monitor treatment goals and progress.

This professional workshop is available to speech-language pathologists-therapists, or equivalent designations.

FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN WHO STUTTER

Treating stuttering in school aged children can be challenging!

Are you struggling to provide effective stuttering treatment for school-aged children?

Research shows that at least one-third of children continue to stutter into their school years, highlighting the critical need for early and effective intervention. Without proper support, these children face increased risks of bullying, social anxiety, and challenges in the classroom.

Community of Practice for Clinicians trained with the Lidcombe Program

Stuttering Specialists Montreal now offers a Community of Practice for clinicians trained in the Lidcombe Program. Led by Trainers Consortium members, these 60-min sessions cover clinical challenges and successes in treating young children who stutter.

Assumes the clinician has taken the 12-hour Lidcombe Program for Preschool-Aged Children Who Stutter. Free of charge.
